Testicular Tissue and Epididymal Sperm Processing and Cryopreservation

Albany IVF assists with area urologist when procuring testicular tissue or epididymal sperm. Our technicians are present during the procedure to verify the presence of sperm and to transport the sperm/tissue back to the lab for processing as soon as possible. After the processing the samples can be used fresh or frozen. It is preferred that fresh tissue or sperm are used for an ICSI case however in some cases it is not possible.
