Fertility Preservation for Ill Patients

Treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation can compromise a patients’ fertility. At Albany IVF we can help preserve your fertility by freezing sperm before treatments begin. The process for cryopreserving the sperm of sick patients is the same as if we were freezing for a patient undergoing fertility treatments. Our recommendation to patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiation is to bank more than one sample to ensure there is viable sperm to use after their treatments.
