About Albany IVF
FERTILITY TREATMENT IN ALBANY
For over 15 years, the mission of Albany IVF has been to provide the most cutting-edge fertility treatments and exceptional care to patients who dream of one day becoming a parent.
Our warm and welcoming fertility practice treats each patient like family, in an atmosphere where each staff member cares about the outcome of your treatment.
First and foremost ~ we are concerned about our patients, not our statistics, and remain focused on your success rather than our success rates. At our center, we respect each patient as an individual so when it comes to treatment, your medical team will tailor your medical evaluations and services to your personal needs. This individualized care will ensure you not only receive the highest quality of customized treatment, but will maximize your chances of becoming pregnant.
OUR NEW BOSTON IVF PARTNERSHIP
With over 50,000 babies born since 1986 and ground-breaking research that’s led to substantial improvements in how fertility patients receive care throughout the country, Boston IVF is honored to bring its vast experience and state-of-the-art fertility technologies to Albany! Through the new partnership with Boston IVF, we are proud to have the most advanced fertility testing and treatments available to patients.
FREE AMH TESTING!
Albany IVF now offers a FREE test that aids in the family-building decision-making process!
The AMH (Anti-Mullarian Hormone) test measures how much “anti-müllerian hormone” a woman produces in her ovarian follicles. The test reveals a female’s level of AMH, which corresponds to the number of eggs she has left, or her “ovarian reserve.”
OUR HARVARD MEDICAL SCHOOL AFFILIATION
Each of Albany IVF’s reproductive endocrinologists, including Medical Director Steven Bayer, MD and reproductive endocrinologist Michael Alper, MD ~ are on staff as a Clinical Professors at Harvard Medical School. Our unique affiliation offers Albany patients the opportunity to take advantage of Boston IVF’s ground-breaking research, which has contributed to improvements in fertility care and technologies throughout the world.
A TEAM APPROACH
In some practices, each physician manages their own cases and does not confer with other providers in the practice. This can sometimes lead to confusion about what the best treatment approach is. The clinicians at Albany IVF are dedicated to a team approach to your care, and will meet regularly to discuss the best approach and the status of your case. This gives you the benefit of their combined experience and attention.
Boston IVF is a world a leader in the research & development of innovative formulas that ease the physical and emotional effects of treatment. Our experts will never ask you go through unnecessary testing, nor will we recommend outdated or ineffective treatments. Our goal is to help each of our patients achieve a successful and healthy pregnancy ~ in the most efficient, and cost effective way possible.
Albany IVF – in conjunction with our new partners and experts at Boston IVF, brings together some of the most trusted team clinicians in the country to help you overcome any fertility issues you may be experiencing. Boston IVF’s research has led us to a history of “firsts”, including the first IVF/ICSI baby in New England, the first donor egg pregnancy, and the first birth in Massachusetts to result from a frozen egg.
We understand the physical, emotional and financial challenges that our patients face, and are committed to providing them with the most comprehensive services and support. Through our partnership with fertility financing specialists CapexMD, we offer our patients the most thorough financing options available. CapexMD’s customized loan programs are designed to meet each individual’s needs and to help ease the financial stress of treatment.
In the summer of 1997, Albany IVF opened its doors to see their first patients. Since that time, founder and director, Peter M. Horvath, MD, FACOG helped thousands fulfill their dreams of parenthood. Sadly, Dr. Horvath passed away on November 14, 2013 following a battle with cancer. In his honor, Albany IVF and its staff continue their commitment to that success by incorporating the use of advanced technologies, patient education, and compassion to deliver the highest quality of care.
